Lip refresh within 1 year

A refresh within 1 year locks in colour and definition after the initial Lip Blush has healed. Lips are a more reactive area – pigment absorbs more intensively and the first refresh significantly extends the longevity of the result. Recommended 6–8 weeks after the first session.

Lip refresh after 1 year

After a year or more, lip pigment naturally fades through sun exposure, food and cell renewal. A refresh after 1 year restores colour, definition and fullness – lips look fresh and vibrant again. Typically repeated every 12–18 months based on individual pigment retention.

After the procedure

Lip aftercare

Apply healing cream (Bepanthen) 3–4 times daily
Drink plenty of water through a straw for the first 2 days
Protect lips from sun exposure (SPF lip balm)
Let the crust fall off naturally – approx. 5–7 days
Do not pick the crust – it causes lighter patches
Avoid spicy foods and acidic drinks the first week
No lipstick or lip gloss during healing (7–10 days)
Avoid sauna and swimming pools for 2 weeks

Frequently asked questions

How long does lip tattooing last?
Lip Blush lasts 1–3 years. It depends on skin type, smoking, coffee and sun exposure. A refresh every 12–18 months keeps the result looking vibrant.
Does it hurt?
Lips are a more sensitive area, but a topical anaesthetic cream is applied before every procedure. Most clients rate discomfort at 3–4 out of 10.
What is Lip Blush?
Lip Blush is a subtle pigment shading that adds natural colour, optically plumps lips and corrects asymmetry. The result is natural-looking, not "made up".
What is a Lip Refresh?
A refresh is a touch-up session for existing lip PMU. Within 1 year it costs €110; after 1 year €140 because more pigment has faded.
What is Lip Correction?
A lip correction is a shorter procedure (90 min, €40) to adjust the shape or colour of existing lip PMU.
When can I not book?
During pregnancy, breastfeeding, with active herpes, while on Roaccutane, or with allergies to anaesthetic creams.
